While I do hear from Dads to be typically it is the mum to be that contacts me about a newborn baby photography session. They tend to be the ones who have been browsing Pinterest and Instagram feeling broody over gorgeous images of tiny babies. If you contact me about your session (best done whilst pregnant to ensure your date) we will discuss colours, props and any special items you would like included in your session.
This is where the dads come in!!
I am often asked to incorporate something from Dad’s favourite team, hobby or even their occupation. If you are a lifelong Dubs fan, lala about Leinster rugby and even as in my husband’s case, nuts about NFL (poor me!) then we can absolutely include that into your baby photography session. I love a challenge so love thinking of classic ways that we can use your sporting items or paraphernalia. Please let me know on booking as the more time I have to plan your ideal baby photography session the better.
Another popular way to personalise your session is to incorporate your occupations- teachers, pilots, chefs, Gardaí are just some of the jobs that we have included in a fun and safe way into a newborn photography session. Although I have never had a fire fighter so please feel free to remedy that if you are one!
If there are any Dads to be out there with any questions about what happens at a newborn photography session, do you have to be in the pictures (YES- I promise you will love them) or looking for any other information then please just drop me an email to siobhain@tickletoes.ie. I would love to hear from you.
