I’m Siobhain Smyth. I am a photographer specialising in teeny, tiny newborns. I am a mum of two- my lovely train-mad son and my fabulous little girl. When my little boy was born I realised the importance of documenting every stage as they grow so quickly. Both my children suffered with severe reflux which has helped me hugely in my career as I have lots and lots of practice of soothing babies. I have a degree in Psychology from UCD and I worked for several years with children with autism which has taught me that all good things come to those who wait. Patience is key. I have trained with wonderful newborn photographers both here and abroad to ensure safe and proper posing skills. Your baby’s safety is the most important thing to me.
I am based in Knocklyon, Dublin but as I come to you I cover Dublin and parts of Wicklow, Kildare, Meath and Louth.
I love capturing your special moments for you to treasure forever. I believe every picture I take and give you should be frame-worthy. I love to see my art on my client’s walls. I look forward to creating wonderful memories for you!
